Sometimes we think we are ready for the Ministry field right away, but we only heard a voice call; we must distinguish the Call and the voice. Who called me? What do you want? our first impression is: Somebody called me; Did God Call Me? We must find out who called, and what He is calling you to do? Don't go out to the Battlefield yet - you lack the goods to fight in the war. Hold up!!! There are weapons of warfare you must have . . . Wait. Let the Spirit teach you. Let Him explain.
. . . Just like Samuel heard the Voice of GOD and thought it was Eli who called him. Eli said, no I didn't call you, go back and listen to that voice again; and he did, And the child Samuel ministered unto the LORD before Eli. And the word of the LORD was precious in those days; there was no open vision. . . . And ere the lamp of God went out in the temple of the LORD, where the ark of God was, and Samuel was laid down to sleep; That the LORD called Samuel: and he answered, Here am I. And the LORD called yet again, Samuel. And Samuel arose and went to Eli, and said, Here am I; for thou didst call me. And he answered, I called not, my son; lie down again. Now Samuel did not yet know the LORD, neither was the word of the LORD yet revealed unto him. And the LORD called Samuel again the third time. And he arose and went to Eli, and said, Here am I; for thou didst call me. And Eli perceived that the LORD had called the child. Therefore Eli said unto Samuel, Go, lie down: and it shall be, if he call thee, that thou shalt say, Speak, LORD; for thy servant heareth. So Samuel went and lay down in his place. And the LORD came, and stood, and called as at other times, Samuel, Samuel. Then Samuel answered, Speak; for thy servant heareth. (1Sa 3:3-10) . . . The enemy was in Eli's sons. Now the sons of Eli were sons of Belial; they knew not the LORD (1Sa. 2:12). Now Eli was very old, and heard all that his sons did unto all Israel; and how they lay with the women that assembled at the door of the tabernacle of the congregation. (1Sa. 12:22).

We must learn to hear the voice of our Shepherd/JESUS before setting out on a mission of Ministry. To learn HIS voice and HIS alone. We must learn the tricks of the devil, find out/Learn what is in us, what we will do and what we will not do. Some may need deep intense therapy before we can even incline the ear to hear - to be taught, not to mention going out to the battle with a weapon - God forbid. Look-a- here: I am not your enemy, don't point your gun at me!!! Please som'bydy, get this uncircumcised philistine out of the hole with me. Zealous without knowlege. Offering Dead Works. It's Ok . . . We are going to train you, if you can make the grade and pass the test. Shhh . . . Quiet down. It's O.K.
Serious equipping is Required for Ministry. Just as a Warrior doesn't become one just because he/or she says so, nor will they become one just because they heard the call, but their is a place of training, and their is a place of becoming equipped. Many are called but few are chosen because there are not many whom will obey - do what GOD says anyway. A WARRIOR WILL NOT QUIT. That means only a few are going to make the grade. So he brought down the people unto the water: and the LORD said unto Gideon, Every one that lappeth of the water with his tongue, as a dog lappeth, him shalt thou set by himself; likewise every one that boweth down upon his knees to drink (Judges 7:5).
Just like their is a call to the "Elite Forces -Special forces". Many 'try out' to become Navy Seals but only a few make the "grade". Grade = one who can take Chastening of the Lord or you are none of HIS (Job 6:17; Heb. 12:7 and 12:11). Now the just shall live by faith: but if any man draw back, my soul shall have no pleasure in him (Heb. 10:38). One who can stand being talked about and yet show love without retaliation and wanting revenge. Able to remain meek after being ill treated.The more you eat the Word of GOD the more you will be persecuted/hated/talked about, accused, and cast out. Special Forces personnel can do things a primary physician cannot do because they are Specialists in their fields. My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me (John 10:27).
Our Mentoring Program should equip you to be a Specialist in your field. Are you a Heart Surgeon, or are you a Neuro-Surgeon, not just anyone can operate on your heart or your mind, unless they have undergone specialized training? Hear what I say!
This program does not set forth a time schedule to be mentored like a regular school, but this is a School of the Spirit - you will graduate when you make the "grade" - if you do not pass - take the course over until their is none of you and all of Christ. So, to say this is a 2-5 year program would defeat the purpose of this Special Forces operation. You determine your own time by your acceptance or rejection of the truth taught in love. The sooner you die to flesh and self - the sooner you will become like Christ and you will set your time of graduation; for Promotion cometh from the Lord and he is a Rewarder of them that DILIGENTLY SEEK HIM. Special Forces personnel infiltrate behind enemy lines to support guerrila warfare operations. They organize, train, equip and direct the use of non-US forces in guerilla operations. Special forces personnel are trained in Survival Techniques, Languages, Communications, Weapons, First Aid, Explosives, and Parachute Techniques. Special Forces personnel can be attached to various commands. They are often called Green Berets because of the distinctive CAPS THEY WEAR.
The major overseas units also include the Army sections of Military Assistance Advisory Groups (MAAG) and military Missions in over 40 countries. They help nations build, equip, and train their defense forces.
Guerilla - Any member of a small defensive force of irregular soldiers, usually volunteers, making surprise raids, esp. behind the lines of an invading enemy army.
